5 ideas for a legitimate online business
Posted by: | CommentsA legitimate online business is the dream of all WAHMs. The problem is, we don’t know what is a good way to work online and what isn’t, and even if we did, we don’t know how to get started. If we did, we’d be doing it – wouldn’t we?
So, what things are possible online? What can we, as not really very technical people (sorry if you are, but I am addressing the majority here!) do online to earn money? Here are 5 ideas: Read More→
Internet Marketing for Mummies
Posted by: | CommentsOk – I am having a change of direction, in response to lots of requests.
I keep being asked about what I do for a living and how others can do it too. So, from here on it, I am going to talk to you far more about earning a living online. My new stragegy (along with the hand holding course I am in the process of writing) will be called Internet Marketing For Mummies (not Dummies – because we’re not!!)
In addition to a change in focus of what I write about (of course I’ll always ramble on about other stuff too – I’m a chatterbox – but the general focus is going to change) there will be new ads that appear on my page, for inexpensive products to get you started. These products are ones that have been recommended by my own mentors (my list of mentors is growing – there are some fantastic people out there) and are very good indeed.
So, first things first: do you want to stay home, make money and raise your own kids? If so, bookmark this page and we’ll stay in touch.

Writing for Profit
Posted by: | Comments
Hello. I recently decided to do some writing for profit, so that I could report back to you on how I found the various aspects of it. So, I enrolled at Elance as a service provider (for free) and I bid on some jobs. I bid on 5 jobs and I got 2 of them. One was writing a blog for a travel niche blog (vacation rentals – holiday homes for those of us in the UK) and the other was writing 20 articles on a provided list of child related subjects. I was comfortable with both topics, and familiar enough with them to write a good proposal and have them accepted. In my proposal, I simply stated who I am, gave links to my blog and to my EzineArticle expert author page and quoted a price. I will be paid $10 for each 500 words I write. I am half way through the blogging experience and have nearly finished the articles. I have done it all in my “spare” time (not my usual working hours) and it has fitted in really easily.
It isn’t impossible to make money online and writing is a great way to start. Swapping your time for money is easily achievable.

Could I ask for your help please?
Posted by: | CommentsHello again.
I wonder if I could ask for your help? I would like to ask you to complete a short survey for me. It has just 9 questions and it will help me to help you. I find it hard sometimes to know what you want to know and this way, I can ask you. The survey concerns working from home (of course) and is designed to help me see if an exclusive private membership club would be the right way for us to go.
My thoughts on this are that if we had a members area, you would be able to ask me questions directly, without worrying that you are bothering me and I would be able to respond in a way which means you can all see the questions and answers. Also, I would have a place to put free instant access to all my reports and resources that you currently have to pay for separately. The idea is that we can communicate throught this membership site.
Anyway, I’d love it if you would fill in the survey for me: Click here to take survey

Exceptional Valentine's Day Offer
Posted by: | CommentsWorking from home is a dream for many, but the reality for many too. There are so many of us who simply don’t know how to work from home, or perhaps more relevantly, how to work from home successfully. I think that maybe I can help…
As you may be aware, I am a life coach. That doesn’t mean much to most people, so let me explain what I do and how I can help you. The objective of my work is to take you from where you are now, to where you want to be, in the shortest possible time. So, if what you want is to work from home but you simply don’t know what to do, then I can help you decide what to do, help you start to do it and then, most importantly, help you to make sure that you actually achieve success at it – which is the bit where most fail. If you are already working from home, but you are not achieving the success that you want, I can help you to find out how to change that and help you to develop the business you really want to.
I usually charge £100 per session for my coaching and a session lasts for an hour. My Valentine’s Day offer to my readers is that I have 10 x 1 hour sessions available in February for £50 ($79) per session as a special thank you for your support. You can use this hour for whatever you want to, if you prefer to be led by me, that’s fine too. If you would like to book a slot, give me your information here:
I usually conduct my coaching via Skype, so get yourself a Skype account if you don’t have one (www.skype.com) you need to get one.
I can only offer this to 10 of you as I simply don’t have the spare capacity for any more. The 10 successful applicants will also get a free copy of my report “How toWork From Home” and other bonus items too! As a special thank you for showing an interest, everyone who sends me their details will get a fantastic FREE report written by the wonderful Nicole Dean.
So – what are you waiting for?
Christina Hills Rocks!
Posted by: | CommentsI have just interviewed Christina Hills for half an hour – and that lady rocks! She is SOOOOOO interesting to listen to – I hope everyone who joined us thought so too. Just listening to her explain how Jah-Jah Binks was brought to life was interesting
So, do you want to learn how to create a website? Do you want to learn how to add a shopping cart? Yes? Keep watching this page – tomorrow I’ll pop a link on here (I know I should do it right now, but it is late, I am tired and you can wait!! LOL)
See you tomorrow

Home Working For Mums (or Moms!)
Posted by: | CommentsI have been working on something other than my blog in my spare time. You know that I keep on saying that I don’t put anything on this site unless I have reviewed it? Well this one is an absolute cracker, but it has taken me a long time to review it: Site Build It
One of the most disheartening things for us mothers who want to make money online is that we know nothing about it – ok, there is the occasional smarty pants who does, and good luck to them, this site isn’t for them! However, every now and again, I discover a true gem of a site and/or product – and this is one of them. Read More→

Please do leave me comments to tell me what you think. It can get a bit lonely blogging away without feedback….

Did you miss me?
Posted by: | CommentsMay I apologise for my absence this last day or two, I have been in bed with some horrible bug thing. I have no idea what it was, but it stole 3 days of my life! I don’t remember ever sleeping that much.
I’m back now though. So, how are we getting on with our New Year’s Resolutions? I haven’t mentioned them until now, because I thought I’d give you a week’s grace. As you may be aware, I am a life coach (dreadful term for a very useful skill) and business coach. I spend time with women each week, setting goals and working towards them in baby steps, to make sure that they actually become a reality. That’s what a resolution is, a goal – something that you want SO badly, that you will move heaven, earth and lose bad habits to get to. If you look in the section of my site called “past posts” (it’s on the right hand side, about half way down) and go to the November posts, you’ll find quite a lot on goal setting. If you have resolved and already let go this year, go and read it. If you are still resolved – read it anyway, it’s useful!
